Throughout the scriptures we find the admonition to
make a joyful noise unto the Lord and to come into his presence
with singing.
Psalm 150 tells us to:
- Praise the Lord.
- Praise God in His sanctuary.
- Praise Him in His mighty heavens.
- Praise Him for His acts of power.
- Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet.
- Praise Him with the harp and the lyre.
- Praise Him with the strings and the flute.
- Praise Him with tambourine and dancing.
- Praise Him with the clash of cymbals.
- Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!
Nothing could be more clear from the scriptures that
we are to be a people who praise the Lord
through singing, playing instruments, and by the very way that we
live.
The goal of the Music Ministry at First Baptist Church
is to teach and encourage every person, choir member, orchestra
member, handbell choir member, and the congregation at large, to
experience the joy of truly worshipping the Lord through music as
His Word so clearly teaches.
We want you to be a part of our music ministry. We
never have too many involved. May the Lord Bless you through
