Our children's program provides opportunities for children to learn about God through Sunday morning and Wednesday night activities, special events and summer camps.
Our children attend worship services with their families. We feel this is a wonderful time for families to be together. We provide a morning worship service at 10:45 am and an evening worship service at 6:00 pm.
Our LifeGroup/Bible study(Sunday school) time is divided by grades 1st –6th. We meet at 9:30am and each department has at least 2 adult volunteers.
We have a special time of learning to "Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of His name; make His Praise Glorious!"
Music Makers Children's Choir 1st-2nd Grade Wednesday - 6:30-7:00 pm room 200.
Young Musicians Children's Choir 3rd-4th Grade Wednesday - 6:30-7:00 pm room 201.
Preteen Choir 5th-6th Grade Wednesday - 6:30-7:00 pm meet in Room 208 (September through May)
We provide opportunities throughout the year for spiritual development in our children such as Experiencing God for Preteens, I’m A Christian Now, Prime Time with God studies, Live It Out, Travel Guide Studies, etc. The times and days these are offered vary.
Girls 1st-6th grade.
Girls in Action (GA) is a mission organization that meets every Wednesday night (September-May) at 5:40-6:30 pm. They meet for mission study through stories, activities, & crafts in room 201. GAs do service projects through out the year such as, food drives, nursing home visits, Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong offerings, cards to Homebound, etc.
ROYAL AMBASSADORS (RA)
Boys 1st-6th grade.
Royal Ambassadors (RA) is a mission organization that meets every Wednesday night (September-May) at 5:40-6:30 pm. They meet for mission study through stories, games, and activities in room 208. RAs do service projects through out the year such as feed the hungry coin drives, Community Outreach visits, Youth detention awareness etc.
BIBLE CHALLENGE EXTREME
Bible Drill has been renamed Sword Drill and uses a fun format to teach children in Grades 4-6. Bible skills meets in room 200A and will be combined with Bible Drill competition for those who are interested. Games, crafts, recreation, service projects, drama, music, theme activities and more will help children learn the books of the Bible, the divisions, 10 Key Passages, Bible verses, Bible stories, and Bible history. They will also learn to find verses in their Bibles. Few things are more important than your child being able to use his Bible and hide God’s word in his heart. Sword Drill meets September through April.
Bible Buddies meet in room 201B. They use a fun format to teach children in Grades 1-3 Bible skills using games, crafts, recreation, service projects, drama, music, theme activities and more to help children learn the books of the Bible and divisions, Bible verses, Bible stories, and Bible history. They will also learn to find verses in their Bibles.
GA Girls Camp - This camp is for all girls who have completed 2nd-6th grades, 5 days in June. We study missions, do crafts, Bible study, swimming, hiking, canoeing, singing, and have lots of fun.
RA Boys Camp - This camp is for all boys who have completed 2nd-6th grades, 5 days in June. We study missions, Bible study, swimming, hiking, canoeing, camp craft, woodworking, leathercraft and lots more fun.
Preteen Camp - This camp is for all girls and boys who have completed 3rd-6th grades, 4 days in June. We experience Bible study, swimming, hiking, canoeing, concerts, talent show and lots more.
S.M.A.K.! (Summer Music Activities for Kids! This is a fun-filled week in July and is for kids who have completed 1st-6th grades. The kids of S.M.A.K! will spend one week rehearsing a musical and will perform it on Friday night. S.M.A.K.! will run each day from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm and will include recreation, Bible games, crafts, lunch, field trips and, of course, lots of rehearsals.
